  David John's 4th birthday party will be Saturday -- December 5th at the Elton Beard Family cabin in Boardman Park.

  Well, for those who don't already know, Davey broke his arm on Christmas day. :( Luckily he had great doctors who gave him a lovely hot pink waterproof cast (his choice) just in time for our cruise! Unfortunately, it would appear that Davey got his grace and timing from his mom.

  Davey can:
  1. recognize major shapes - including oval, octagon, and hexagon.
  2. knows all the major colors including pink and purple.
  3. recognizes and says all the letters of the alphabet - both capital and small.
  4. knows and counts from zero to ten.
  5. reads 22 sight words in both handwriting and print.
  6. can stack more than 10 blocks.
  7. can jump (two legs)
  8. can balance on one leg.
  9. can draw a circle, straight line and a cross.
  10. can make every day a joy.

  Davey had his check-up today. He is 35.5 inches tall and weighs 31 pounds. He is in the 95% for height!

  Davey has started to use the potty.
  He can sing the tune of "Twinkle Little Star"
  He knows the alphabet.
  He recognizes and says 1-5.
  He is beginning to know colors and shapes.
